Guys:

I just got two new HDS7's. One on the dash and one on the bow. I have an ethernet cable and thus they are networked.

Problem I have is it's not doing what I expected it to do. So last night one the lake I got the owner's manual out and still couldn't figure it out.

It looks like I need to change the "scope" to either local or global depending on what I want on each unit.

It wouldn't allow me to change the scope. I saw scope in the menu, but it wouldn't allow me to highlight or edit it.

Basically, here is what I am looking to do:

1) Each unit reads it's own depth
2) Each unit reads it's own temperature
3) I have a Lakemaster chip in one and Navionics in the other. I would like to toggle between the 2 chips depending on which lake I am on and see the same chip on each unit.
4) When I mark a waypoint, I want to be able to see the waypoint on both units. That was pretty much the whole reason for being networked. So I can mark an waypoint on the dash, and then use the bowmount to be able to fish around it.

I'm sure these are fairly easy fixes and someone out there must know how to set this up properly?

Thanks - Ball Cap
