had a high five on a 175 xri and re-powered my 690 with a 175 pro-xs a couple weeks ago. my dealer tested with the Rev 4 21p based on what i wanted to do and input from people here. i had to wait on it coming in so first dunk in the lake was with the high-five from my previous motor. i didn't run it open and check numbers or anything, but frankly it was a bit disappointing and ran like my old xri ... i wasn't as impressed as i expected to be.

until ...

friday i put on the Rev 4 ... WOW!!! that motor came alive ...

use your high-five as a spare, sell it or put it on the shelf and get a Rev 4 if you want to get out of the hole with a broad flat running range. i may get a custom Tempest 3-blade for fun and top-end, but am really happy that i got the 4-blade prop for this boat. 53.5mph at 5300 rpm's comfortably, up and flat "now"!! broad range and no more proposing from about 32 - top end.
