I run a 04 Tuffy 1760 Osprey single console with a 150HP Optimax.

Performance is really good---low 50s, good gas mpg, amazing hole shot, smooth steering and riding boat---takes rough water really well. Big front deck and lots of floor space--I take the passenger seat out when fishing alone---best laid out boat I have ever fished in for one person.

I fish about 90% of the time solo--and for that the boat is really amazing---one other guy really nice as well---never tried 3---but for me that would be a little too crowded.

If it was me I would fish 3 guys in it before buying---just to be sure!

Not to mention my -04 model transom is really low ---putting extra weight in the boat (another guy)--and adding a back deck would not be wise for my boat. Not to mention the fuel tank is in the stern as well--not well thought out.

After 04 they changed that so if your looking at the newer models it won't matter.

To be sure you get a lot more boat for the money than the other models.
