Location: Madison, WI		What did you do to attach the carpet to the aluminum hatches? We just added a casting platform and put in two aluminum hatches, had the carpet glued, everything was tight, no issues. Had it out this weekend in the rain and it literally peeled right off, no adhesion whatsoever to the aluminum. Yes, carpet adhesive was indoor/outdoor. Did you have to rough up the surface of the aluminum to get the adhesive to stick?
