| Removing everything was the easy part obviously. The carpet that was on the aluminum lids for the livewell, the battery box, the baitwell, and the aluminum underneath the console was a pain to remove! This was the longest part of the process. All of the front deck was through bolted and pretty easy to put back on. I replaced the wood on the main floor. I layed the old sheet over the new and drilled out all of the same holes. When it went back in the boat it all lined up and screwed right in. With the thickness of the new carpet we had some challenges getting everything to fit right up front at the doors and we needed to do so some slight modifications to get it to all line up.
All in all it wasn't too bad, but not something I would want to do again in the near future. I am just glad it is done. I did the project with my dad and as things got torn out and started to go back in the suggestions to do this and that started coming. Hence why the console is painted. I could have probably been done two weeks ago, but there were a few adds that I was not expecting to do. Fathers can be so influential! I am very happy with it though and it is ready to fish.
