Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I tried toget mine within 1' of my regular ducer. Problem is that I have a shoot thru hull too and only if mounted to the back of the step by my water intake & drain plug would that be possible. Then I could uave interference from the intakes as well as worry about some structure knocking into the LSS1, the thing sticks out like a sore d!$&, its about 7" long. One rock or tree and byebye LSS1..
