Location: Madison, WI		I own a 2007 1760 and i have the deck extension. It is removable with a couple of bolts on each side and reveals 2 more seat bases. The extension is huge and basically turns the boat into a deep v bass boat with extra storage underneath and still having the option to take it out. Not sure about the 05, but my 04 1700 did not have the back extension option so i built one. Good luck with the boat i dont think you will be disappointed!
