Both are great hull materials and aluminum can now be formed to make the hull ride well in the big stuff, like the Lund IPS hull. Aluminum can cost nearly as much as glass these days when comparing apples to apples in hulls, interior options, and similar trailers (frequently overlooked). I'd look to the companies who build big water boats for the Walleye Tournament anglers, those boats have been tested under the most extreme conditions possible and have been refined through the process.
