| I've been working on this project for a while now. Found this '96 681 in a marina yard last August. The hull was badly oxidized, the seats were torn, and the teal green carpet was torn and had moss growing in various spots. But the motor started right up and the underside of the hull was in super shape, as was the trailer. My 12 year old spent a couple weekends running a buffing wheel and brought back the shine on the polyflake. The lids were full of stress cracks, which I wet-sanded and painted with an automotive grade polymer and then ran a textured spray paint as a top coat. I started the carpet in late February and have been working on it weekends since then (mostly glue and rivet removal!). Here are some pics of where it's at as of today: new carpet and trim, seat skins from Ranger, and it's almost ready for the electronics to be installed...
