I have a relationship with a specific motor company that I like, but I will relate a comment made to me by the very first person to ever make a million dollars as a pro angler. He said, "What matters to me is if they have a trailer and a guy here to fix it!" He was, naturally, talking about the companies that supply trailers, mechanics and parts at events, but I would put similar advice to you. It's not so much the brand of the used motor as how convienent a service provider for that brand is readily available for you when you need it--and you will need it. So, if there is a shop in your area, with great mechanics, and a good rep for helping customers who own that specific brand....well then I would proceed. If you have to go two states away to find a dealer, well then I would make another choice. Marty
