Great reply Efly, you make some good points. In my mind, I wasn't thinking of the casting platform for sight fishing; maybe it's because my decks are so low to the water, but I feel like it's difficult for myself to see some follows until they are right next to the both. I know that they come in low sometimes, but I was curious if the extra elevation would be beneficial in my situation.
