I tried WD40, tire shine, wiggling every direction, etc - I finally separated my shoulder. Someone finally gave me the tip to use Plumbers Grease. You can find it at any Home Depot. Still hard to do and you have to re-apply often but it made it about 50% easier to deploy.

Honestly, how could anything be so poorly engineered - next motor will be a Terrova (while I still have one good shoulder).
