As MuskieMike said, the 190 is a hybrid hull, it's not as deep as the 1890 but it's not a bass boat. The 190 runs a lot like a bass boat but it still retains that deeper V allowing you to run rougher water a little better than a bass boat.  

The 1890 is much deeper, a true deep V hull. The 1890 is also six inches wider than the 190.  

As for the GDC models, the GDC model does not have a capped gunnel. This allows more room throughout the boat and user space. You'll see the differences on the front decks of these two 1890's. That is the only difference between a GDC and a DS or DW models. The GDC model makes for a great all around boat and one of the best muskie platforms available imo.
