Have been running the same one since 97 with only one trip to the shop (T&T relay went bad - $18). Regular maintenance and we've always used Quicksilver Premium Plus and High Perf Gear lube. Not sure if it matters but it's worked well so we continue to use those products. We also. Hangs the plugs every year whether they need it or not - water pump impeller every 3. Finally we've switched to Non-Oxy gas exclusively and Ive noticed it seems to run a bit better - again may e it's in my head but it's worked.
