Question about side imaging... for those of you that have it, do you use it? Do you find it useful for musky fishing? Is it an actually useful tool, or more of a nifty feature?
And what it really comes down to... is it worth an extra $500? I'm considering upgrading my dash unit, and the unit I'm thinking about is $1,000, or $1,500 with the side imaging. I do some trolling (not a lot) and some fishing of waters I'm not that familiar with (not a lot). I'm almost entirely mono-species... I do some panfishing, but mostly if I'm out fishing, I'm chasing muskies.

So I'd love some honest reviews! Do you have it? Do you love it? Do you use it? Or is it a nice feature that gets looked at once in awhile?
