Thanks for sharing this. I have a new Minn Kota Terrova and depth collar broke on 4th fishing trip out. Minn Kota has a problem with that design - stress concentration point where breakage occurs with normal use. Now I know I can replace it wiyh out a 100 mi trip to a repair shop. Thanks again.
