Location: Cedarburg, Wisconsin		Make sure you get stranded wire, not solid. You might need a crimping tool for the battery side wire end connector you chose. I always soldered the ends too after crimping when I did the wiring myself as it eliminates places where water can get into the wire and start corroding. Heavier wire is better if you have a longer run, like front to back of the boat, but if you are just a few feet away from the socket it doesn't make that noticeable a difference.
