I have the Osprey 1760 and like it very much.

Fast, stable ride, handles big waves, good size casting deck, very smooth ride---Great for casting or trolling-

-Interior layout is amazing for Musky fishing---if you like to fish by yourself--you can take the passenger seat out---When the passenger seat is out--it is the best layout I have ever fished out of.

My guess is you will love the 1700--some pretty hard core guys use and love that boat. Prices used seem much better than similar Rangers etc...

Not that it matters--But the 1760 and 1700 are great looking boats in the water and on the trailer as well--not to mention running full out on plane!

The 1700 for sale on this site looks like a great deal if the motor compression checks out and there are no surprises---

-In my opinion after spending a lot of time boat shopping a couple years ago--you will not find a better Musky boat for 10k if that motor checks out.

Also that one will not last long!
