The Baron is Not the model you are looking for if you want a casting boat. I have been using the Lund Explorer 2010 for the past 5 years and it is definately a much better choice as well as being a much more versatile rig. It has large front and rear casting decks and much more rod storage as well. You definately will not have any problem hanging a net over the side to unhook fish at boatside. The sides are lower than the Tyee line but this model still boast a 25" transom so it can handle the big stuff as well. I've used it on Lake Ontario for salmon fishing in some pretty nasty stuff and have never had a problem. My previous rig was a Lund Tyee 1950 and i am much happier with the fishability of the Explorer 2010 sport. The 2075 and 1975 Pro-V are also great choices though they are a fair bit more expensive than the 2010 explorer.
