I run a Bird off the trolling motor and a HDS8 in the back for navigation. The only time I see interference in on the bird when the trolling motor is running at a certain speed. The bird is running off the built in the ducer on the motorguide. If I remember correctly there is an option on the lowrance units now where you can "turn off noise" I would think that or playing with the sensitivity would alleviate any interference visible on the screen...
