I looked at price and went with 3 HDS 7s over an 8 and a 7. I felt I get more square viewing inches for the money that way. I run 3 7s accross the dash or can move one to the bow. If I was only going with one unit on the dash I would have gone with a 10. The smallest I would have gone with across the dash is an 8 if I was only going with one unit there.
