Location: Elk River, Minnesota		Good point!! and simple to test.

If you have a second tank you can borrow or use, see if the motor still chokes out. If it does, then it is motor related. If it doesn't, then I would bet Guest is spot on with something along a fuel line letting air in. Definitely I would say start with the easy one here and follow what Guest is saying before playing with the idle screw...
