If you want to move the unit from one mount to another, Humminbird is much better suited for that task. It is simple with all cords being attached to the mount. Place the unit on its base and you are ready. With Lowrance, There are at least 2 cords and the Ram mount to hook up. If you plan on moving the unit more than once a day it will be a pain.
