I have a 97 Mariner 135 that is acting up. I have talked to two different shops and they cant seem to figure it out. Hopefully someone here has an idea or 2. When the motor is cold I will start it up, take off, and it runs fine. I will fish a spot, start it, try to take off and it will bog down. Sometimes it quits, sometimes I can feather it and get it to "catch" and it will take off. Once I get up on plane it runs great. The problem seems to be worse when the motor is warm. If I pump the ball while it is bogging the motor dies. If I choke it while bogging it dies. Spark problem? Too much fuel? Too little? Bad gas screw something up?
Thanks for any ideas
