Yes, i was thinking the same thing.. Also have been looking at the trailer manual for tips.. Just knew that wasnt right when i released the pressure from the strap and the boat went up!! Also the way the trailer flexed up and down when i tightened the winch strap.. Not good.. Always did that before and the boat would barely move..

I will be adjusting the winch post accordingly.. just hope there isnt any damage
from this trailer being set up incorrectly!!
