i just got a boat last winter fairly cheap but it needed some work so i put new carpet in made the platforms bigger and put a depth finder in it. I went with a hds-5 and i love it but it is mounted so i can see it when i am driving. i would like to add a nother one to the frint so i can see it when i am runing the troling motor. I wish i could get another hds but i just cant swing it. so i was looking at finding a used depth finder. Now for my question. What is a good depth finder and what should i stay away from, also where would be the best spot for my hds-5 in the front or by the wheel. If any one wants to see what the boat looks like here is a link to my rebuild. Thanks
