Location: musky waters , WI | I hav e a 2005 merc 9.9 prokicker and when i run it i squeeze the bulb till it gets hard and prime it twice and it starts right up. After about 10-15 min of running you can slowly watch the fuel filter get air in side of it and the bulb on the fuel line becomes softer. I t will eventaly start to die off due to lack of fuel but if you squezze the bulb and push more gas into the fuel filter it will start running normal untill the process repats it self. There are no holes in the fuel line as i checked that and had replaced the fuel filter. Wondering if it could be the fuel pump is bad or something on the carb. Any ideas or thought would be appeciated
