Had that happen to me last year, also. Unless you want to use a locking compound on a plastic cap (was recommended to me by some, sounded bad), you need to replace the entire resevoir. Comment from the wrench that did the work "once the cap is unscrewed, rarely will it re-tighten again, you nearly always have to replace the whole thing". Was not my favorite comment.
