i gotta 24 v system, can I hook the pos and neg from the 12v charger up to the open pos/neg on the two batts? thanks in advance


Don't think it'll work. For a little while, I had a 12v charger with a 24v system. I had to either connect the batteries in parrallel or charge them 1 at a time. Doing either way, I never got a full charge according to the tester on the MinnKota. Buying a 2 bank charger is the way to go. I didn't want to spend the money either at first, but after using one now, I will NEVER go back!
