Location: Uxbridge Ontario		I have always use a transom saver. Not just for the transom, but for the steering linkages and hydraulic unit as well. Nothing more awekward looking than following a boat without a transom saver on and watching the engine slam back and forth from not being supported. It is a lot of weight to have bouncing around back there.
