Mine does this with a 2010 997 and a 2010 958 model. I tried it on the lake a few days ago and it seems to work a little better if it is set at the 500 feet zoom setting but if you zoom in or out it takes a long time to reload. Also, if it is zoomed in more than 500 feet it doesn't keep up as you are moving even at 5-10 mph. I called Lakemaster while on the lake and they said they have had some calls about it but they dont think the delay is too big of a problem. They said I could send the chip in and they could check it out but it didn't sound very promising. The navionics chips seem to work just fine in both units.
