Location: West Virginia | Im in the market to put a new bow mount trolling motor on my boat. I have a 17ft flatbottom aluminum starcraft bassboat. I currently have a Motorguide 37lb thrust on it and although it does just fine on calm days on the lake, mix it with wind and current in the rivers and its not exactly up to par. I dont know exactly what thrust I need. Im looking for something in the $400-$500 range. I looked at the minn kota edge but they seem to have mixed reviews. 12V or 24V doesnt matter. Any Suggestions? |
