Hiya,

I would recommend the brand called Towtector.

This is not the typical rubber mat style that you see so many rock guards have...it is made up of bristles which essentially do the same thing, but you can order the lenght of brushes that guarantee they are not hitting the ground, when pulling, but stay down during high speed travel. The rubber mat-style (some styles) can have a tendency to blow backward, thus you lose the capability to protect your rig from the debris.

The tow tector will essentially cut the velocity of the rock flying to an extent that it will no longer be flying up toward your trailer and boat...it essentially will fall to the ground.

The towtector goes across the entire rear of the truck, and if you so desire, you could potentially have it extend past the sides of the truck which you might find beneficial.
