Meh, I think it's good for looks...if you're into that. But unless you're building a car for the next 2 Fast 2 Furious movie or an experimental air craft in your garage, having it on your dash and panels (if it's even real) is just for looks. And as an air craft mechanic myself, I see it all the time so I guess it doesn't have much ooooo-ahhhhh factor to me. So take my opinion fwiw. But they do make them for most boats so if your panels now are faded or cracked, it's a viable way to spruce them up.

Or are you talking about wrapping the whole boat in a carbon graphic wrap? Ranger made an actual carbon fiber boat last year that looked pretty cool.
