Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin		That's the air pumps, I'd bet on it, I heard the same noise. If they go out, you will know; the truck goes into safe mode. Unplug the pumps up on toip of the engine under the hood, and all is well. No harm to the motor, it's a pump system to heat up the exhaust faster. My son had them repaired for about $2000.00.
