cphilli - The material is still plastic. Fiberglass is a harder material. Thus, if the fiberglass had sharp edges, it COULD scratch the boards, I guess. By definition, if you have 2 different materials, the way to know which one is harder, is "which one will scratch the other?" The stuff is just super dense.
*** UPDATE -- My "guy" is getting some price lists together for various sizes that I gave him. I expect to hear back from him at some point today.
