Want to see what peoples thoughts are on when you are suppose to change the water impeller on a 1998 mercury 175 efi? Two Mercury dealers told me every two years it should be changed no matter what!! This will be my third season on a impeller and it still has good pressure at the gauge. Are the dealers just trying to get my money for the part or is there a specific reason why it has to be changed every two years?

Thank You
