Rigging the new boat, and I am looking to upgrade from a 24v to 36 v trolling motor.

Space is tight, and I don't think I can fit another big battery in.

Is there any harm in running different sized batteries in a system? say one group 24 and 2 group 30s? Or one 30 and a pair of 24s?

I'd really like to go with the 36V system, but if I can't make it fit then I guess I'll just stick with what I have.
