| I recently sold my 1987 Tuffy XT160 and got a 1996 Ranger 690. I am hoping the 690 will allow a bit more stability for fishing with the family and will also be more waterskiing/tubing friendly. One of the many winter projects I plan on looking into is a rear bench seat/casting deck. Does anyone know if there is an available option from Ranger or any aftermarket options? I have tried a local dealer, but wasn't confident in the response I got. My ultimate goal is to not only have the bench seat convert to a casting deck, but also be removeable for trolling. Also I would be looking to use the space beneath the seat for tackle sorage.
I found one example during my recent search, but I have no details other than the picture below. I remember seeing other similar seats on boats for sale (boat was in TN I believe) during my search for a 690, but can't seem to find any pics from that. I am willing to build a seat, but sure would like see other ideas first.
