I just got a Merc 115 4-stroke and I had to move the motor up 2 holes. I just got it back from the dealer, but the dealer said that he was getting about 42 mph. I traded a 2 stroke 75 in and I was getting 37-38 mph with it. I thought I would get more out of the 115 than 4 mph. I am also using a SS 17 pitch prop. Hope this helps.
