I ran the R70 for a couple of years. Very simliar to the R80. Decks are great for castinf. Rough water wasn't as much fun even on lakes 5000 acres. If you are doing any trolling I persoanlly don't think it would be very comfortable or user friendly for it. Just my thoughts on it. The boat itself road nice, fast, and low to the water. It trailered great and is still to this date the easiest loading boat I have owned. I do not recall being able to mount a kicker motor. But with all the stuff that is out there now adays it may be able to be done.
