Structure Scan has helped me immensely. It doesn't replace conventional sonar, but I run my back unit on a sonar/Structure split and the front graph on chart. Conventional sonar shows suspended bait better, but with Structure scan (on down scan) I can tell you what kind of weeds I'm over because I can see the cabbage leaves. And in a lake where weeds are king, that's worth it.

And on side imaging mode, I've found wrecks, rock piles and sunken timbers, which in a lake like LSC, any little bit of structure you can find is golden. So for me, Structure scan has been worth every penny, as has the larger screens which allow me to run 4-way splits, or just get great detail on a single single screen.

Might get iPilot over the winter...dunno yet. I've got another Power Pole to install before anything else.
