Yes, I am aware of the safety zones, but it isn't what I was looking for. Looking to select 1-2' bands to highlight. You are right though, the 6' safety zone does come in handy for shallow hump/flat work, but being able to select for certain bands is sure nice and was amazing how areas 'popped' out at me on the map, areas I might not have normally looked at.

Thanks much for the responses. Makes my decision easier, when I have to eventually replace my big unit(hopefully won't be soon, and by then Lowrance might offer the feature...hehe).

The one thing I don't like about the HB(at least the model I was using) was the need to be going at least .6 MPH in order for the arrow to appear and update/show which way the rig is going. Not sure if the newer units are also like this, but my Lowrance is superior in that dept.
