| I have an 05 620 with a 225 Vmax, T-8 kicker. Fastest I've had it was 63-64 but boat was empty. My Vmax also has a Hydrotech phase kit installed (carbon fiber reeds/valves), supposed to add from 30-50 more hp. Don't know if it added that but it isn't bad. My boat was slightly slower than a friend with an 06 620 and a 250 XS racing motor on the back and the 2006 had the shallower, faster hull. I wouldn't trade the 05 for a newer faster hull anyday. It handles big water MUCH better than the newer hull. | |
