Entering my 5th season with them and no issues. They are tough as nails, and so much easier to work than my old DE's. With the rear portion of the holder stationary, you don't even need to set your sandwhich down when extracting a rod on a hit or snag. I was skeptical of the tall pedestals at first but upon talking to the owner of the company and placing my order, he explained that the holders are actually more rigid with them than the standard base.
