Location: menasha wi 54952		It will handle 8' rods without modification just not in every tube. I would not be afraid of a FICHT that is still around. I have a 98 150HP that has had all the updates and has NEVER had any problem. Make sure you get the computer printout on any used motor and you will know what you are buying.
