My boat is old (1987) and has too many scratches to cover. However, there are a couple of thin spots in the fiberglass on the keel. (When I look at the inside, I can see light in a couple spots) There are not holes but thin areas where the boat had hit rocks etc...

How do you think that herculiner would work to provide a protector on the front?
