Location: Twin Cities		To those of you that have actually taken the top cap off the head of a Terova trolling motor - Can you tell me if the compass unit that sits in there is supposed to be fixed/mounted/screwed to something?

Mine just sits in there loose, and I can hear it rattle around in there when i stow it and bounces around in there when driving as well. To me that does NOT seem like the way it should be installed.
