Location: Elk River, Minnesota		Agreed...I would say your pedal is due for replacement. I have found that just over time (mine went 5 years) and although I did not get any wear through to the point of corrosion, I believe the pressure on the contacts just finally gets to a point where the contact no longer has enough pressure to work correctly.

Quick and easy fix with a new pedal.
