| Fished Eagle Lake last Summer and the chip did very little in the way of providing assitance to navigation. My best suggestion is to use the chip to lay down a known path of deeper water and do not, REPEAT DO NOT, get going faster than your motor can raise up. Busted up a lower unit pretty badly on what we thought was a safe route which we had laid earlier in the day. Must have been off my no more than 15 feet, but it was enough to lose a morning of fishing trying to patch up a lower unit. We had the Navionics chip and for the most part it didn't do much good.
